Leaders Are Born understands the importance of your online privacy. This policy outlines how Leaders Are Born does business, what information we collect, how we use your information, the circumstances under which information is shared with third parties, and your options to control what communications you receive from our marketing partners and from us. 1) What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you:
- Visit our websites and online pages
- Register for, participate in, or attend LABco programs, workshops, webinars, events, and experiences (virtual or in-person)
- Apply to become a partner, sponsor, speaker, intern, chapter/operator, or participant
- Use LABco forms, communications, and related services
2) Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: name, email, phone number, mailing address
- Program and registration information: school/organization, grade level (where applicable), attendance, participation details, scheduling preferences
- Parent/guardian information (for minors): parent/guardian name and contact details, consent/permission records
- Communications: messages you send to us, support requests, survey responses
- Media and content: photos, video, audio, testimonials, and other content you provide or that is captured during programs/events (subject to consent where required)
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and similar analytics data
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Deliver and administer programs, events, webinars, and experiences
- Communicate about schedules, updates, logistics, and program materials
- Provide support and respond to requests
- Track attendance, engagement, and participation
- Operate World Credits (WC) and related rewards/redemption processes
- Improve our services, safety, and program quality
- Maintain compliance, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms
4) World Credits (WC) data use
If you participate in World Credits (WC), we may use program participation data (for example, attendance and engagement) to:
- Calculate WC balances
- Determine eligibility for rewards and experiences
- Process redemption requests and/or cash-out requests (where applicable)
- Prevent fraud and resolve disputes
5) How we share information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors who help us operate (for example, forms, email, analytics, scheduling, and program delivery tools). They may access information only to perform services for us.
- Program delivery partners: schools, venues, or partner organizations as needed to deliver a program or event (for example, rosters or logistics). We share only what is reasonably necessary.
- Sponsors (level-based deliverables): Sponsor deliverables may include both (a) agreed engagement/visibility deliverables and (b) agreed reporting/metrics deliverables based on Sponsor level. Any sharing of participant information, if offered at all, must be explicitly described in the applicable Sponsor Agreement and comply with law and consent requirements.
- Referrals to third-party financial service providers (if you opt in): LABco may refer you to third-party financial service providers and related partners. If you request an introduction or otherwise opt in, we may share limited contact information (for example, your name and email and/or phone number) with the provider so they can contact you. We do not control how third parties handle information once received; their privacy policies apply.
- Marketing partners (limited): We may work with marketing partners to help us promote our programs and measure campaign performance. Where used, these partners may receive limited technical/usage data (for example, cookie or device identifiers) to provide their services. We do not authorize marketing partners to use your information for their own independent purposes beyond providing services to LABco.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights/safety, and prevent fraud.
- Government/DOE and grant-funded programs (as required): If a program is delivered under a school, Department of Education, government, or grant-funded contract, we may share information with the relevant school or agency as required to administer the program, comply with contract requirements, and complete reporting, audit, or compliance obligations. We share only what is reasonably necessary and consistent with applicable law and permissions.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6) Children and student privacy (minors)
LABco offers programs that may involve K–12 students.
- We may collect limited information about minors to administer programs (for example, name, grade, attendance, participation).
- Where required, we obtain parent/guardian consent for participation and for media capture/use.
- We do not knowingly collect more information from minors than is reasonably necessary for program administration.
7) Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate our sites and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8) Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide services and maintain program records
- Support WC accounting, redemption, and cash-out history
- Resolve disputes
- Comply with legal obligations

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) Your choices
Your Acceptance of These Terms By using this website or our affiliated services, you signify your assent to the terms and conditions contained herein (as amended from time to time). If you do not agree to be bound by its terms, we politely ask that you do not use these resorces.
Depending on your location and relationship with LABco, you may request to:
- Access, correct, or delete certain information
- Opt out of certain communications
- Manage cookie preferences through your browser or available cookie tools (if provided)
