The Game Development Workshop introduces students to the exciting world of game design and development using Unreal Engine. This program provides students with the technical skills and creative insights needed to build their own video game assets and environments, empowering underrepresented communities by transforming their passions into careers.
Program Highlights
Unreal Engine Basics: Learn the installation, setup, and interface of Unreal Engine. Students will be guided through the initial steps of navigating the software.
Game Asset Creation: Build custom video game assets, including selecting components and assembling them into functioning environments. This includes hands-on activities and project-based learning.
Advanced Features: Explore advanced blueprints, lighting, texturing, and audio integration. Students will delve into more complex aspects of game development to enhance their projects.
Capstone Project: Complete and showcase a fully functional game from concept to execution. This includes planning, developing, and presenting their game projects.
