LABco’s STEM & Sustainability Program empowers students to learn and earn more by merging creative visual design, foundational STEM engineering concepts, and real-world problem-solving skills. Students track the entire lifecycle of a SMART utility within land, sea, and space environments—building the mindset and technical fluency to design solutions that work under real constraints.
A unique component of our curriculum expands into Nature Education and Day-in-Nature Outdoor Leadership, blending academic ecology with hands-on fieldcraft for grades 6–12. Through day and overnight field trip experiences, students expand their Explorer’s Mindset by practicing horticulture and habitat stewardship, conservation principles, outdoor safety, basic land navigation, and introductory shelter and survival concepts. Learners strengthen practical ecological literacy by identifying medicinal, edible, and harmful plants, recognizing local wildlife, signs, and habitats, and applying responsible, risk-aware decision-making in real outdoor conditions.
Our Land, Sea, and Space ecosystem model encourages students to design, test, and refine strategies that support survival and sustainability across diverse environments. The experience is elevated through community-building and leadership standards—such as stargazing and basic sky orientation to healthy meal prep and proper table etiquette—helping students build confidence, discipline, and teamwork while connecting STEM learning to the natural world.
