LABco’s BUILD & RACE: VR Engineering, Esports, and Tech Innovation (VREETI) program puts students in the driver’s seat—combining hands-on STEM building of RC cars, planes, and drones with advanced VR simulation and real-world racing. Students design, assemble, and customize their own vehicles (RC Cars/Planes and Drones), then use VR SIM rigs to safely operate both the virtual models and the real vehicles they’ve built.
What's included: This program features industry-aligned curriculum, guest speakers, field trips, and a capstone showcase with live and virtual races. Students choose between a focus on Racing, Aviation, and VR SIM Technologies to earn Certificates and credits towards pursuing FIA motorsports and FAA Part 107 pilot pathways. Digital badges, letters of recommendation, and scholarship guidance are available for those seeking further study or certification.
